One of the main resident 650 guys took a leave of absence so honestly I dont know the answer but as said above there are lots of variables to consider but usually bikes go somewhere between 25 miles to 60 miles once the light

Yea, you can definitely do more than the 10. Be easy and smooth on the throttle to ensure you get the best mileage out of your N650. But, definitely head to the nearest gas station.
next time your fuel light starts blinking, fill up your tank rightaway and note how much goes in
check the total tank capacity in your bike owner's manual and do the maths to get the trigger level
knowing your average fuel mileage and a bit more maths will give you the final answer... definitely more than 10 miles, i would say
