Three ninja firsts in one day. Today was my first commute to work, first night ride on the return trip back home, and first time carrying a loaded backpack. Ninja headlights are alot brighter than I expected them to be, I like it.

I'll be a pro in no time. ;D

Haha, Props. Tonight was a great temp for a night ride around here. Although I think my standards have dropped considerably since it started raining so often. :p
Next Ninja first is riding in monsoonal rain...

Had a crack at that today, not first time in the rain, done plenty of that, this was the first time that it was MENTALLY heavy.

I look forward all day at work to hoping on the bike and heading for home, although I never really want to get there, I take different routes to extend the trip, but I know better than to stay out to long, as I have a physical day, and dont want to ride tired.

Thurday I'm on the road at 145am to get to work, I'm praying for a dry night so that the roads are in good condition so I can stretch the bikes legs, its been raining for the last 3 days with no sign of stopping. :(

MM how did you feel with the extra weight on your back and would a tank bag work better??
My sister was on my dirtbike when I was ehhh 12 I believe, she was 14 and I was meeting her at school. She had a fully loaded backpack and got on it to take her bag home since we were doing something at school and had to stay there. She got up the road to take a turn, the backpack shifted weight and booyah, all her front teeth were grinded to the gum and broke off. Had to take her to the emergency room then to a dental surgeon. Now she's got teeth like Chris Rock!!! Should've been wearing the helmet but she just wasnt thinking, neither was I at the time.
Holy SHT! Really makes me appreciate my saddlebags!

The backpack only weighed around 10-15lbs. A pair of hiking boots, coat, and clear visor, the basics. It felt ok, didn't bother me, had it strapped tight.

I'm not into tankbags yet if ever.

yeah someone has the icon bag and doesn't like it....and uhh you wouldn't have to worry about your t shirt going up if you WORE A LEATHER JACKET!

I'm guessing you leave the backpack when you give your sister rides places.

And I can't believe you have a tramp stamp. Damn R6, pushing the line there. You know the one.
ahahaha R6's sister lol. No her teeth are perfect, they're fake as hell but you can't notice anything. The pain she went through is embedded in my head and damn, helmets are a wonderful thing!
glad to know she's okay. had my first over 70 mph today. had my first almost crash yesterday. woo :D
G
I haven't been over 70 either, don't want any cops up my ass.
well i was actually doing about 80 in a 55 :D. followed my friend so we could guage my speed. it was such an awesome feeling riding on the highway.
There's ONE road here and its in okay shape, 55 mph limit. A crap load of twisties and straights and MY GOD I CANT WAIT TO HIT THAT!!!!!! No cops, a couple houses, lots of palm trees and nobody really uses the road.

Glad to hear shes ok. My aunt got hit by a truck when she was riding her bike and would have died if she wasn't wearing a helmet.

Same with countless people on youtube. Its just dumb not to wear one.
my bike won't go that fast unless i put like a 3 tooth sprocket on the back end :p. how crazy was the wind at that speed?
really 3 tooth only and you can get up to those speeds? to be hones it feels like im going 120 i mean it loud but ride wise its so smooth and flat i stay tucked pertty well after like 110 i pull up and its all good bike keep the wind off me really well for not having a double bubble wind screen, i want one so bad!
i don't have a 3 tooth sprocket. i was just saying thats what i would need to get my bike up to 150. my bike is all stock. fastest i've been is 80. sorry if that didn't make sense.
