I've been riding for just a few weeks. Does anyone know why my fuel gauge drops rapidly all the way to empty from half tank in just 20 seconds. I noticed this happens whenever i rev over 6k rpm. As soon as I release the throttle, it goes back to normal. Thanks!
Electrical problems? Maybe the bike is drawing too much current when you accelerate, which makes the fuel gauge not operate. Then again I know nothing about electronics.
Yeah, that sounds like an electrical problem. Maybe a wire is pinched or a connector or loose. I would take it back to the dealer and see what they can do. Something like that should be under warranty.
I've never paid attention to the gauge while accelerating...maybe the fuel moving to the back of the tank under accel has something to do with it. I'll take a look next time I ride. Sounds like Kawi dropped the ball on these gauges...jeez so many ppl having issues.
