I was wondering, do our ninjas 250 come with a fuel filter,if not I would like to add one, and would that hurt the bike to add a fuel filter.

There is a fuel filter build into the tank - it fits over the petcock and the only way to get to it is by removing the petcock... However, adding a second fuel filter won't hurt anything...

There is also an inline filter on the carb. Not unless you run a lot of dirty gas or ride in a dusty and windy area, these filters will suffice. There is no scheduled service on them however, I recommend you at least check the one on the carb every so often.

If you cant find the filter at the carb. They have a nasty habit of sticking inside the hose.
