It was pretty damn bad, 800 million tons of top soil! I was coughing up dirt still today. If any of you have seen the movie 'The Mist' it was just like that but RED!

Theres hundreds of pics online, type sydney dust storm into google.
The earlier the photo was taken the redder the dust looks.

And to put it in perspective, I'm a 1000km north, and we got it almost as bad. I had 50m MAX visibility on the building site.
