I just bought some T-rex Racing frame sliders off ebay for my 2012 400r. I have wiped out twice and dropped it once in the last 2 months of having this bike, and am sick of seeing scratches all over my bike.

Why do dealerships not have the options of buying these add ones when you buy the bike? I personally think every bike should come with it stock. If you wish to remove it, then go ahead. I'm lucky I haven't cracked the plastics on it lol.

Oh yeah, and the swing arm spools come free, so yay to that.

I feel your pain. I wiped out on my 650r like a month after I got it but I got insurance money from the other driver so I was able to get it fixed. I agree with you that they should come stock. It's kind of ridiculous that they dont. My problem is most of the sliders for my bike require fairing modification and I don't want to just start cutting up my fairings. Lol

The ones I just got are actually for a 650r. 400s have the same body type as the 09-11 650rs.
