other than that it went as expected, pretty straight forward. much easier than my car haha. I cleaned and lubed my chain while I was waiting for the oil to drain out. Waited about a half hour before putting it all back together and putting in the new oil.

Its nice to know that I can do this, my dealer said it was $60-$70 for an oil change.

I spent a total of $20, and that included 3 qts of oil (just in case), a drain pan, a funnel, and the filter. its INSANE how much they charge lol.

How long did it take you from rolling the bike into the garage and back out again?

well no garage, did it on a sidewalk (apt building, on street parking), from the time it went up on the stand, to me starting it back up was about 45 min.

So 45mins, plus $20 parts... they'll get an apprentice who is earning what 5-10 bucks an hours?

So cost is about $30 give or take, and they'll charge what $100 plus?
