First Ride of Summer!

Well, my buddy and myself took a ride up to Port Townsend on Saturday. Its in Washington, up twards Canada. haha. It was super sick. Tons of fun and tons of miles. This bike is AWSOME! My buddy has a R6 raven, and I killed him in the corners. We had some super intense corners......like 90+ mph. I was kinda worried about my bike not being able to preform, but I would say it out preformed the R6 for sure. We rode 328 miles, avg. 75 mph, 6 hours of intense curves and twisties. We stopped every now and then just to talk and rant and rave about the last 20 miles. haha. I got a ton of pics, but these will do for now. There was a Suzuki GS500F also with us.

dang thats awesome! i need to go out for a ride like that, do you have to be exp at all?
Haha, no. This is my first bike. I just took all that I learned from the MSF course, reading, studying and other peoples experience and just focused on my skills of riding a bike, and bam..............you got 90 mph corners. haha. I didnt even really realize I was cruising that fast until the GS500 started to pull away from me then I glanced down at the speedo and saw 98. Freaky, but oddly enough it happened foar about 5 more hours. haha. It was fun.
Stockwall, Awesome ride and awesome pictures man.. Excellent. makes me want to get out there and go for another decent blap with my cousin

It's a great way to get experience, You don't need to be experienced but it helps to keep up if your riding with experienced rider.
It's not an opportunity you should pass up if you've got it however, you can watch how other riders attack corners and they can give you tips.
Hey crazed demon of speed! My husband 's co worker saw some wet rats on the ferry. He noticed the 250! was that you guys?
Nice pics, looks like a great ride!

Haha, no not us. I have yet to see another 250 on the road. Oh well. I honestly dont ride crazy like that very often. I have been focusing on my skills and abilities for the last 2 months, that I figured it was time to put them to the test. I DO NOT recommend that people go out and take corners and twisties at high speeds. Just go and have fun at your own pace. I know the rain is coming soon over here so I know I had to get out and do somekind of ride. Glad I did, cause the rain is here. haha
