Finally, after two years of drooling over the beautiful 250s on this great site, I was able to get mine. Would've posted this all much sooner but my computer took a crap. I wiped it all up now. Anyway... purchased July 3rd, as of now i have almost 600 miles on it, kinda rainy summer in western New York plus it took a week and a half for delivery. Ordered frame sliders but I've got a nice list of to-do... :) oh almost forgot. It was new 2009 Special Edition, leftover. lucky me.

Are you disappointed yet?
Um, no. The first weekend iI had it I rode with a buddy of mine that had has a yamaha r6 and I didn't feel like he had a HUGE advantage. I didn't buy it for it's top speed. =P

Yeah, but it's only half green... so think Team Green and Team Black should score half each!!
:)
It's Kawasaki Racing colors...so it's still Team Green.

Being a former 250 owner and now owning a R6 trust me if your buddy wanted to he could've had a big advantage.

smart move, to order frame sliders first.
Yeah, I ended up leaving the bike at the dealer for a week and a half for them to get in and put them on... But after a while I was like, eff it. gimme the bike, you can install them at the first service. lol.

Lemme add this note, it wasn't a well maintained r6, it was a P.O.S. like things broke off of it, P.O.S., and his tires were shot, now, clearing that up, I'm 10000% sure that even a stock PROPERLY MAINTAINED r6 could blow me away. lol.

Hey Zartan I completely agree about the 250 with the right road and rider. In my city they still call me 250 because I was the only rider that came out with a 250 to ride with all the big bikes. And they will tell you that I gave that bike hell and kept up with them except on straight aways when they were doing 120.

Spooph, U know I was happy with my 250 spent about $1000 on all the mods and stuff and then 3 days after I recieved and put the last one on I got hit. So I'm still cool and riding a 250 in my heart. lol

I know I know, did I not use enough smiley faces or something?! Or wait, I'll use sarcasm tags next time... :p

We still love you RD, we just see more of your tail light these days.... :p
Hey spooph that's funny that you said that. I told one of the guys that I ride with the other day that instead of just seeing tail lights I can actually be close enough to see back tires and I can even pass ppl now a days and not just in a corner. I can pass them on straights. lol
