Hey guys I guess I got my first learning mistake and feel awlful as the bike only has 250 exact miles. So anyway I went down today and messed up the left faring and scrached the front just a little. Well I need to now order a 2010 red fairing and turn light for the front. I'm just glad all I got out the whole learning event was just a little road rash. Does anyone know of where I can get a fairing for cheap as I can't seem to see my new bike the way that it is.

Maybe instead of "parking fine" it should be "parking fail - take this ticket to the courthouse so we can d!ck you out of all your hard earned money" (Continue parking any way you want, we could use the money).

Only reason why it did happen was beacuse I was at a stop light and it would only change to the yeld on green and not the left turn arrow. So about 8mins of waiting and letting the light cycle for about 4 I got mad as I had A line of cagers, so I tried to gun it at the yellow but rev'd up too high and then when I tried to take the turn I just did a SR and hit the front brakes. Stupid lights they need to fix them for bikes

GG, I will send you an email of a guy from Thailand who buys direct from the Kawasaki factory painted fairings matched obviously to the correct colour.
Since he buys direct, he normally can supply to the end user much cheaper than dealersand online shops. He has a shop on ebay and also on another site called ecrator(I think thats it)
He specialises in goods for the 650R, but since the 250R comes out of the same factory, he can get parts for them as well.

Well I got 614.00 dollars for my repair so all is good as I can now buy my new left side faring and left blinker no other damage and parts are only going to cost 300.00. Now my biggiest fear is that I damaged the motor or tranny can anyone tell me how much abuse they can take.

Like when you lay over your bike does the impact of falling to the ground hurt the engine/tranny or major strees on the parts. From what I can tell I just damaged the left side faring but that all that I Can see. Also with it just falling over and sliding I would think that I have no frame damage but correct me if I'm wrong.

Nope, you're right... In order for you frame/engine or tranny to be hurt, you'd probably have to end up in the hospital.... Thanks fully, since you didn't, I highly doubt there is anything wrong with the bike beyond what you can see with your eye....
