Clutch replacement

Good evening, I’m currently replacing my clutch plates on my 04 zzr1200. I accidentally pulled the center shaft that moves the spring plate and I can’t get it to go back in it’s not allowing the spring plate to fully engage with the clutch housing. Has anybody encountered this on the or different model?
Idk if this is in relation to that problem but my clutch lever isn’t wanting to move at all anymore regardless of positioning. Is this the same issue or caused by something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated
