Elli all, I'd like to share something. This is my first season with a moto and I have read about the cooling temps and people's experiences. Well here's mine.

It's only about 48 degrees f, and I wore a cotton T, a fleece and my mesh jacket with liner - I could bare the cold, but when it came to my hands and legs, and partially my feet ... I felt my gibblets took ahit - I felt like went from Man hangers to a 10 year old boys toys for tots :). When the weather drops even more I know it will be even more tough.

What have you guys done to bear the cold? I can't buy a second set of winter gear this year.

If find biting down hard on your upper lip helps take your mind off of it.
*LOL*
For relief afterwards you can't beat an 18yo single-malt, neat....

Get a good four season jacket, and some good ski underwear and you'll be just fine. I start riding in March and go into December if the salt stays off the road. Rode xmas day 2 years ago, it was a short ride 0C/32F.

Also good gloves like Icon Patrol are a must and I use a baclava under my helmet when its really cold.
