Hey All, grew up riding dirt bike and after a 30yrs hiatus,decided to get a bike for the street(family thinks its my mid-life crisis). I took the Illinois Motorcycle safety course first since I'd never ridin on the street. Picked up a new 2011 Green Ninja 250 the first of June and it's been heaven ever since. Starting to get use to the high RPM's now but still try catch myself shifting for that 7th gear if I don't keep count. Just wish I would have done this years ago. I plan on keeping it stock for the rest of this year and do some mods over the winter.

welcome brah... i was also having this problem.. but the more you ride the more use you get to your bike... i know this the when i was braking in my engine it was hard on high rpm not anymore..

welcome! Glad to have you hear! Yea, for sure, post up some pics, especially of the bike in it's surroundings - the areas where you usually ride. We love seeing different places! Any idea what kind of mods you'll be doing over the winter?
