Does anyone ever notice that when you have the 250 (not sure if other bikes are the same) on the road during the night, that people are ALWAYS flashing their brights at you?

I get blinded 100 times a night, and I realized why...The 250 has two lights, and the left one is the running light, while both together are the brights.

So these stupid (but they mean well) drivers are blinking their brights at me like a freaking light show because they think I have a headlight out, but I just politely blink back and raise one finger ;)

PS (I raise my index finger and point downward towards my light so people know that there is only one running light on an MC)

I mentioned it in my post. I was just curious if people in other areas of the world have the same issues. Just making conversation.

my bad bro. misread your post. I've seen a few bikes with the same setup. Your right though people that don't know any diferant might think you have a light out. My borther in law got pulled over by a cop for a head light out on his Yamaha, it had the same set up as the ninja.

Its madatory for us to just have eye protection all the time. And you dont have to have insurance if you're wearing a helmet (that includes structual damage) I dont understand it, and you'd have to be really crazy to drive a bike without some kind of insurance.

Yeah its retarded in AZ... have to have boots on...but not a helmet? Personally I'll take a chance with my ankles long before my head.
Heh, someone's never had a bike on their foot.

Oh, and on topic:

If you have trouble with the lights from oncoming cars, once they get about 100 feet from you, force your self to look into your right mirror w/o turning your head.

That'll kill most of the glare and preserve some of your night vision.
