I read somewhere that Buell XB footpegs would work on a 250 ninja . I saw these on E BAY so I took a shot.
they took a little fileing and I had to drill the hole bigger but they fit like a glove . And drop my legs an inch . and move them back some.

I rode the bike today. The buell footpegs definitly give much more leg room. The brake lever is adjusted all the way down and feels a little far forward. I will weld a tab to it to fix that.
The shifter is to high. I will try to bend it and grind a notch in the rear set to fix that .
Over all it makes the bike feel big. Between the pegs and clip-on bars I feel wraped around the bike.

no you don't understand. These pegs are further down and back . So much so that even with it adjusted all the way . it still feels way high.
If I grind just a little off the rear set piece it should be better.
As for bending it . it is to far forward. Bending will be tricky though. Because the kick stand it very close.
For the brake I am going to cut the pedal off and weld it back to the bottom of the lever.
That will move it back and down . First I will ride it and make sure the pegs don't touch.
So far it feels great ex for the pedal adjustment. My legs don't feel pinched at the knee. when riding on my toes.it feels very comfortable.

I fixed the control problem. I am reluctant to do things that can't be undone. But I figure I can buy used stuff on e-bay so why not.

I cut the pedal end off the brake lever. Just chopped it off. ground down and welded it to the bottom of the stock lever. At first glance you can't tell it from stock but it is closer to the foot peg now and a little lower.
Now I can slide my foot forward and cover the pedal. before I had to lift my foot up and step up to the pedal and it was forward as well.
For the shifter I ground just a little from the webbing that holds the foot peg. That lets the shifter move back enough to get first gear. I also bent the lever just a touch . It was rideable before but now it is perfect.
I have 34 inch inseam. this modification gives me nice leg room. My knees are below the bulge on the side of the tank. My legs don't have that pinched feeling at all when riding on my toes.

6 ft but I have long legs.before in a full tuck my elbows overlapped my knees. And my knee came right to the widest art of the tank. Now with the clip-on bars and the foot pegs. My elbows are in front of my knee and my knee is under the wide part of the tank. More comfortable and more aero at the same time.

eh I'm very comfortable with my height, never wanted to be tall anyways. I workout everyday as well so my muscles are more compact. As for the ninja I'm a perfect height for it, I feel very comfortable on it.

Oh and jester...I have a car!!!! Muwahahaha!!!!

So what model are these pegs? I'm 6'3" and am finding that i could do with a little bit of extra leg room :) I tried searching on ebay but i couldn't find ones that looked quite like these. I'd rather not end up with the wrong ones.
