Last nite i found out my rear riding light doesnt come on. Brake light illuminates wen im on them but wen im on the gas its completely off leaving trailing cars 2 only see my headlight if im not braking/indicating. Somewat dangerous i guess. Coz brake light works does that mean its jst wiring. Maybe a loose connection somewhere. If u cant oredy tell im not very mechanically minded. Any help wud b appreciated. Tanx

Is it an aftermarket light? What kind of bike do you have? It may be a easy fix. Just need a few details

2011 kawasaki ninja ex250r with factory lights.

Change the bulb. If you have a 2008+, the tail light is under the pillion/passenger seat. It twists out and can be replaced with a # 1157 bulb or #2357LL bulb. The license plate light is removed by taking out the 2 screws in the light housing. You can replace the bulb with a #67 or #67LL bulb.

Hey so the brake light works only when you hit the brake correct. The rear running light does not work at all? Blueghost is the rear

It is a dual filament bulb. the stock bulbs suck. the ones I recommend for replacement are long life bulbs (2357LL) with brighter lumens for the brake light.

Yeah man. I kinda figured it was a dual element bulb being that it only had one but I dont have a 250 and the description didnt say. Glad to know. Ill vault it in my knowledge bank

Hi guys. Just an update about my ride light. Thanx blu it was just the bulb. Sum of the led bulbs in store were upwards of $30 for the phillips & other premium brands. Im in australia so everythings a ripoff. I hav had an eye on the integrated rear led light & they arent much mo than sum of the bulbs so i went with an SCA incandescent 1157 which was $5 for a twin pak & gonna order the integrated lite.
