broke front right footpeg bracket, got a new one- trying to install it. where the heck does the little baby spring attach to on the brake lever? this feels like a dumb question but i can't find a picture anywhere. its the spring responsible for turning the brake light on when you hit the rear brake lever.

pretty dumb.... thanks guys though

edit: i'm an idiot, i had the brake spring on upside down. it attaches to that. good game everyone -_- good news: streetfighter almost done. attaching headlight this weekend. tail light modified successfully and footpeg bracket is installed. brakes changed and headlight bracket designed and in production. nice. will have pictures when its done

Sounds great. How long since you were able to ride, or have you been road worthy during the streetfighter mod? You must be getting anxious.

its been 5 weeks i think. after i bolted on the footpeg bracket i took her out for 15 minutes but was getting nervous because there were no lights or speedo/tach. fun to ride the bike that naked though =) headlight is on as of 30 minutes ago, gotta do something to put the instrument console on in a few mins. been using muffler clamps clamped to the forks to attach headlight.. looks pretty good in my opinion, not professional though ;) i'm not a doctor.. or a mechanic

Anyone care to take a picture of how the spring is supposed to be installed?

I'm having this problem and can't find any info anywhere haha

My back brake light won't turn on and I played around with the nut and the spring feels loose. Maybe I've unplugged the spring accidently.

The brake switch spring should be attached to the rear brake light switch, the other end hooks into the hook part of the (fat) pedal spring. The brake light switch should be adjusted so that there is about and 1/2 in of thread showing just above the bracket.
