sharrokor, indeed, I have both 2" blindsides and 3" hindsides from CRG. I usually run with the 2"ers... I have both because I got both sets at a steal. Being that they're so expensive, I wasn't willing to drop the dough initially, and I'd have to say, having ridden them for a while, I still wouldn't pay full price for them, and especially not the rizomas. Just because they are ridiculously expensive! They are very good mirrors, machined, solid, able to withstand tip-overs and some slow speed get-offs (can't tell you about high-speed stuff cause I haven't dropped the bike going fast yet). They look great, and they allow you to see, although your head has to move significantly more to be able to see them, from the stock mirrors....
Personally I like the CRG's, but the Rizoma's will keep your handlebar width slimmer - so if you like to split lanes, I would go with the Rizomas....
As far as I'm concerned, it's a trade off. With the stockers it's move the elbows to be able to see. With the bar-ends it's move the head to be able to see.... A rear-view cam and screen might be an even better option, and probably quite competitive price wise... Was introduced to one a while ago, but have forgotten who makes it since....
Oh yea, when I had mine strapped to the stock bars, I took the bar-ends to a machinist and had him cut into them to mount the mirrors. Once I got regular handlebar hollow pipes, the mounting kit worked great (and was hella expensive as well!). So it might behoove you just to find a machinist and have it done, or send your bar-ends my way and I can have them cut for you.... Or there might be a machinist on here willing to do a little something something...
Hope this helps...
