Hi peeps! I just bought a set of arrow head turn signals for my 2011 250. It should be a simple install but I'm concerned about the bulbs that comes with these new signals. The new bulbs are 23 watts as compared to the original 10 watt bulbs, should I be able to use these as is or will I have to get lesser watt bulbs? Should I need any other modifications to accommodate the 23 watt bulbs? Thanks all!

You'd stay on the safe side if you replaced the bulbs with the 10w stock version, as long as they fit. I can't remember off the top of my head if the circuit will take the extra wattage and am a bit busy ATM to figure it all out.... Eric? Racer X? Some of the gurus should be able to point you in the right direction.

no harm would come from buying yourself a set of 10w bulbs just to be on the safe side until someone comes a long to work it all out.

Never done any light mods on the 250 so i woulnt know =/

Thanks!

Thanks guys! It's always better to be safe than sorry so I'll see if I can get 10 watt bulbs for these arrow heads. They just came in today & they look great!! It cost about $32.00 total for all four turn signals, not too bad. I'll check to see if they fit (hopefully) with no modifications. Pics to follow as soon as I get everything worked out. BTW......I LOVE MY NINJA!!!!!:)
