Just wondering what one of these $69 pipes would sound like, adapted to a 250.... With these large-diameters, and little back-pressure, it would probably pop like a s.o.b.

Sounds like a deal. Let me know, how long your valves last.;D
okay spoiler, but the exhausts I bought for my monster are 2 danmoto carbon fiber ones, so if u want to wait about two weeks you can see how I think of them.
Sounds like a deal!

Did you buy them from the factory website? How much was shipping?
dang-it Crispy! You spoiled all the fun!

Kurt, offer is still open... :D
yeah I bought them from the website, I bought some other things as well as the exhausts (2 of them and other stuff) was like ~$60.
Hmm wonder if I could make a drag pipe out one of these... cheap cheap.

you would have to bodge something wouldnt you? you would save a bit of weight though if you remover the under tail exhaust!
Thanks Crispy, sounds like someone needs research the correct fittings, and do a "how to" Danmoto Exhaust Conversion on their 250R.

Sounds like a job for Spooph, to me. ;)
lol, I would be thrilled to Kurt, but you still gotta buy me the exhaust.... :p Just for the prototyping...

Didn't you ask Santa?
Santa and I aren't communicating anymore...

From the 650 forum I frequent....

" I purchased a danmoto exhaust about 2 months ago and it burnt into two on me at a motorcycle shop about to go for a ride. I had to rig it to get home. Danmoto would not email me back, would not give me any kind of refund or upgrade. I went through paypal but had to ship it back for a refund. didnt have the money to ship it nor the time, so that a**hole won. i would not recommend other fellow riders to buy it."

He went with CF too, didn't he?
Since the exhaust is located so close to the engine on the 650, carbon fiber isn't a good idea for that bike in the first place, too much heat. My bike will be fine, and I guess we'll find out in the spring.
I saw this article about Danmoto. DanMoto Slip-On Exhaust | K3 Chris Onwiler | Trackdaymag Sounds like the reviewers liked it.
The exhaust for the Ninja 250r is $80 + shipping. Ninja ZX 250 R : Danmoto
There is also a removable baffle available. Removeable Baffle : Danmoto
