So when I start my bike I leave the gas off (on the petcock) and it fires right up and will run for a little bit, when it starts to die I turn the gas on the rpms get higher and I change the choke and then it dies and it won't start again after that I have to wait a few days before I try again. If anyone has ideas or could possibly help in any way that wild be great!!

Zx9r 2001 and that's what I thought but it is so hard to get to the floats!

I had to take apart all the floats and it now runs just fine.. wasn't easy to get to but I got it done. If it cranks it shouldn't be the battery, so it sounds like a gas problem.
