Some of you know, many don't. I have had NO motivation to ride or work on my bike. Its been a weird time in my life with little motivation to do any of the things I used to enjoy so much, including tinkering with stuff. Somehow it has started to turn around and I started tinkering with a vengeance again... Before I can fix my bike and continue the project on it I have to fix this compressor....

Backstory: 4 years ago a friend of mine traded a worthless pressure washer for 2 compressors 1 of which he gave me which we've been using ever since. The second was a Sanborn 60gal 140psi upright that needed some work. Prior to moving to the east coast he gave it to a Youth Group we both used to go to. 4 Months ago he moved back from the east coast and we get the hair brained idea to go see if they've done anything with it. Predictably it is still in the exact same spot we left it 3 years ago - this is part of the reason neither of us go to that youth group anymore... Things stagnate there... Anyway, so they return the compressor to us for a small fee, and we take it apart. Its dirty and we don't know whats broken on it. My idea is to build it into the coolest compressor you've ever seen! For the intake filter I want to use a massive performance air filter for a car, and shine it up, then clear coat everything. It's meant to be one of the center pieces of a shop, if I ever get to start a shop of my own.... Alright, enough yabbering, more pictures!

Its on the list Zan, once the compressor is done I'm digging into the 250 again... Lots on the list for that... :)

edit: on the danmoto... The "exhaust" for the compressor is into the tank, and I would be circumventing a lot of the design and creating all kinds of problems for myself if I do that, so I think I'm just going to stick with the big cone airfilter at the intake side...
