Hey all,
I'm from the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario. I had my second level of graduated licensing done for a motorcycle up to this past October. I let it lapse after since I couldn't really afford a bike to do my exit test and in the process, convinced myself that I didn't need a bike. Went to a winter bike show this year and realized that I still love them. Re-did my safety course and license with a buddy in May and bought a bike a month after. It's a 2011 Kawasaki Ninja 400 and I'm loving it so far! She has about 800km after two day trips, lots of weekend riding and some of those really fun parking lot practise sessions
Definitely more comfortable riding in the city now, especially given the free city parking for motorcycles and scooters. But, getting out of the city is really where it's at!
Despite all the newb mistakes, it's been a lot of fun and I'm really glad that I got back into this.
Really loving that a few people on here have the same bike and are enjoying it! Looking forward to posting some pics and sharing some stories!
