i love my 250R 2008 but have 2 issues. to change a headlight globe & fill radiator, do i really have to take half the bloody body panels off?
i would greatly appreciate some advice
If you have small hands you can reach up underneath and change out the headlight bulbs. However doing it blind can be a challenge trying to clip in the bulb and putting the boots back on.
Adding coolant to the radiator can be done with a flexible funnel, once again however, doing it blind can lead to unwanted spillage. In both cases removal of the right side fairing makes it easier.
Many thanks indeed for the response and it is much appreciated. Being lazy will probably result in me trying to do it blind. I'll cut off 2 fingers if it will help get in there but after much cursing will land up taking off the body parts. At least now I know that I am not just being plain stupid.
When I bought the bike I spent 2 days searching for the fuel gauge and eventually couldn't take it anymore and called the guy I bought it from who informed me that sorry....true....it simply doesn't have one! These folks in the east can be odd at times I tell you.
Thanks Blue Ghost for your time and effort!!!!:thumb:
