Just picked up a used 2008 650R yesterday and the guy said i will have to change the rear sprocket soon.. and i was looking some up i guess stock is 46Teeth but i don't know if i should go with steel or aluminum...:ermm: any help would be awesome.

anything aluminum wears fasterI don't know about the aluminum ones, I heard they wear faster

I plan to buy a 16,000 pound chain to go with it......But it might be that hard it messes the chain up !

But it's gunna be a bit before i do it...
Only have 5,500 miles on this chain....
Probably last till 15,000 - 20,000 miles before i need a change.
