Awesome lights, I say go for it I you like them. How good are they at lighting you path though?

That's pretty sweet! Some things to keep in mind.

1.) You'll have to mount the igniter somewhere behind the fairing
2.) As Ghost mentioned, you will have to split your headlight assembly apart, which is a bit of a PITA, but can be done successfully with an over, hair dryer, and 40 gabajillion screw drivers...
3.) The low beam should stay on - you won't get the full effect without modding a separate switch to be able to kill that low beam.

I had a hell of a time doing my halos but I got them installed. It's a better idea to use a heat gun not a hair dryer. The oven works to but it's to slow for the heat. I had my wife help me with mine she held the heat gun. Killing the low beams is a good idea. I use mine with the lows on. I just park my bike at shows and leave the halos on. They haven't killed my battery.
