Just picked up a 2013 ZX10. What is the best exhaust to get? I've heard of loss in throttle response from some slip on's such as two brothers and M4. Also is the Power Commander V worth getting? What other mods have worked out well that are worth purchasing?

I have a two brothers and love the pipes looks, sound, and performance. You can definitely feel the bikes power increase with the slip
On. I would suggest not getting a power commander as they have some issues with the software. Supposedly they fixed it but I still
Hear the bike misfire from time to
Time. Suggest ecu re-flash with the map installed. Guhl motors
Can help you with this. Plus gives you all the throttle response etc Hope this helps

It eliminates the catalytic converter. The two brothers made about a 12 hp increase alone. At least that's what the Dyno said anyway. My buddy don dyno'd his bike after every modification he did and he got 14.6 hp increase but he already had the box race filter which was a 2.2 hp increase over stock.

That's exactly what I was wondering. Awesome that's perfect cuz I'm ordering a K&N on Wednesday as well as the slip-on so I appreciate the help. The stock exhaust just isn't doing it for me so I can't wait to get the new one. I have a zx9 that I did a ton of work to, but love the new zx10. It's an animal!

The power commander definitely made a difference. The update to the power commander was needed as the bike would have times where it would only fire on 2 cylinders. Update fixed it but still has moments where the sound change dramatically. The bike is a great bike and hauls butt. Got the ohlins mecatronic and sent the stock forks off and had them install ohlins internals. The best money ever spent. Bike rides amazing now. Corners better than I would have thought. Ecu flash is a must to wake the bike
Up. My friends that don't have it done. Might as well be riding a 600 as to how easily I pull away from them. Best 400.00 dollars spent on that bike for sure.

Thanks bro I'm really happy with it and can feel a huge difference with the box cat gone and new mid-pipe on. The K&N filter is on its way and my next purchase will be the PCV. What do you think would be another good upgrade to get after the power commander?

. Suspension and brakes!!!
well I put steel brake lines on and levers. Lines first. Then levers. Both lamed a great improvement. I then put on Kevlar brake pads then the onlins mecatronic shock world of difference. Cost a lot but well worth it. Is this your first 1000???? If so leave the stock gearing if not add 2 teeth in the rear. Before you put the PVC on. Flash the ecu. I promise you it's worth it. 2nd best mod I've done on the bike. The 1st being the ohlins suspension front and back My buddy out the. Carbon fiber wheels on his and he loves them. Best mod he said he has ever done. I didn't go with those. I did however put the ceramic street bearings in and they are amazing. Kevlar pads are okay but wear fast with heavy braking
