Shouldn't it come with one on as standard? Mine is a 2010 zx6r and came with the ohlins one as standard!lilnoug said:

No to save money they did not come with them. According to Kawasaki the addition of KTAC and new forks did not warrant a need for damper. Instead it is offered as an option for around $650

I can tell you first hand that if you ride aggressive you need to buy one. I went with the ohlins. Not nearly as good looking as the top mount or electronic ones but they have lots of valving options that can be done to suit my style. However, the ktac helps tremendously. I have already had the bike tank slap twice. Since putting the stabilizer on no tank slap worries. They are pricey but worth it if youve ever pooped your.
