So yesterday was the 2012 Poker run with all monies raised going to the Make-a-Wish foundation.
About 150 bikes were in attendance and the ride covered over 200kms
Here's the route we took

Here's the sport bikes

And now for some cruisers!

And a couple of really nice carsand trucks were in attendance as well

There were more bikes and cars, but just too many to list here!
Check out my photo bucket page for more

After all was finished, and we returned to the Clubhouse that organised the run, there was dinner, an Auction, and prizes for best bikes etc.

This print of Clay from the SOA went for over $150!

Oh, and did I mention the prizes for best bike??

Nic pics Zandit, thanks for posting. Looks like it was a great day to ride. Poker runs I attend around here usually have only 2 or 3 sportbikes in attendance. Interestingly, the old Katana was a feature article in this month's Cycle Canada magazine, it really is the bike that changed the design mold for sport bikes.

Thanks guys, this was a great day, and the weather was perfect, if a little hot.
It was about 27deg C, not a cloud in the sky and bugger-all wind.
I see the Katana very regularly as it is a daily rider for a guy who works around the corner from me. Always catches the eye!
