Hey all,
So I took my 2011 ninja 250r with about 780 miles on the freeway today and it ran great! After about a 20-30 min ride I got home and pulled into the garage, shut the bike down and when I was pulling the key out I noticed the Stem head bolt in the center of the steering column was missing. It must have vibrated it's self out while riding. Pisses me off because I just bought the bike from a dealer which probably should have checked to make sure all was tight. Anyways it's my first bike and I'm not familiar with replacing things yet. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and if this is common at all? Also does anyone thing I should go to the dealer and ask for a replacement stem head bolt, or is it my fault? Any info on where to shop for one may be of help too. Thanks

Maybe no one knows about this because I haven't heard anything but from one person. This is my first bike and I don't know much about bikes, but mainly I want to know if it's safe to drive it with this bolt missing . And also if this is a common issue with the 250s
