I recently purchased 2006 ZX-6R 636 (10.5k miles) from our local garage. I love the way it performs, but it is pretty noisy. So I am thinking of doing a valve adjustment on it. I have done valve adjustment on Ninja 250 before. Are there any special tools required to do this on ZX-6R 636? Can anyone provide any special tricks and traps that I should be aware of before getting into it?

Thanks for your inputs.

Welcome Zino, I'm not sure if anyone can help you out with this as most of the bikes here are the new Ninja 250R. Probably the closest bike to yours here is Felix's which is a later model ZX-6. I recently had the valves done on the 250 at my local dealer and the price was surprisingly low, but then there is only half the cylinders too. Maaybe your dealer can provide a quote if it proves too difficult to get the answers you require here.
