Hello all,
A pleasure to find this place and I'm happy to jump right in and tell you alllll my problems with this lovely bike I bought from a customer for $1000! What a bike! What a steal! Whoops, fell right in love and bought before hearing her purrrrr. Made my payment and went to ride her home at 8AM on a brisk Sunday morning...... no start.

Brought a new battery along, lots of cranks, hundreds, and even some turn over with ample amounts of carb spray. This would always result in high revs, heavy smoke with pretty rings and fuel leaking out of the low point of the exhaust, if it would stay running long enough to do so.

Towed her home the following day and here she has sat, in my garage in various states of disassembly.

If you want more back story or more pics just ask... I have plenty.

As of this moment, my question is this:
Can I simply cap off Tubes ZX11X300? These are the 2 tubes connecting to the Silencer Intake and the Air Valve.

The system I have circled in blue is the system that has been deleted from my bike.
The tubes circled in red are the 2 ZX11X300 Tubes in question.

Thank you for your time.
Chris

You cannot. those two tubes are quite important to the operation of the engine .that whole intake system needs to be as designed do not modify the switch or silencer system in the photo .I work a shop and am in the slow time .snow . I can walk you through a lot as I've just rebuilt my 600 and learned how different the ninja is to other inline 4 .
