Greetings all!

I just picked up a 09 and had a quick question about it. My other bike is a 03 VFR (fuel injected). If I crack the throttle quickly as the bike is warming up (full choke), it will stall. The bike won't stall if it let it idle there. Once it's fully warmed up, there are no problems.

Is this normal for a carb bike or do I need to have the carbs adjusted or something?

Thanks all!

Andy

What's up Snafu! Welcome to the site. Yes...the carbs in these Ninjas are jetted lean from the factory, for fuel mileage. There's nothing wrong with you bike...just give it ample time to warm-up and go easy for the first couple miles every ride. The only real solution to this is to re-jet your bike. There's tons of info all over this site if you'd like to look more into that.
