Helmet rainproof?

I am new and going to get a new ninja 300, will be using it to commute to work daily, just wondering is the full face helmet rainproof? Isn't there vent for water to go in?
If there are some brand/model of helmet design for rain riding, can you guys suggest a couple model to me?

Thx

Jmo

I've been caught in the rain a few times ... I wear a full face helmet (Bell Vortex & RS-1) and never had any water go in the helmet. Helmets aren't waterproof. But based on your trajectory they will deflect water to the point it will make them 'waterproof/resistant' while you are riding. I would say the worst part of having water on the visor-why, because sometimes you gotta wipe take the time to wipe the visor-and that may take your attention off the road. Even if it's for a few secs.

rainx on the outside is great on a visor but can cause even more fog in a helmet that is not well ventilated. People say crack the visor but do you really want to lift the visor in the rain? Use a fog guard and remove the cold weather chin guard open all the vents especially the rear vent

Interesting idea. Wouldn't RainX have a potential negative effect on helmet visors though?

Been using rainX on visors sence it came out.
No problems yet.
Nnnnn bugs clean off easier too....
Far as fogging.......
I have always had to crak my visor just a bit to prevent that.....
45+ years of riding n have had to do that all of it....
