I top out at 5'2" with approx 30 inch inseam, maybe even shorter. I really wanted to lower my ninja to feel more comfortable - but had too many people advise against it. I have learned how to get past it. I think I was just scared going from a 27in seat height on my cruiser to the 30.5 inch seat height on the ninja.

I learned to compensate - and mostly it was about teaching myself how to be more comfortable and learn to ride the bike as is.

However, in the future, if i should ever want a bigger bike - i think it is going to HAVE to be lowered. I am at my limit where the ninja sits.

This is an interesting topic, as me, a 5' 9" - 10" guy feels that even I on the 30.5" seat sometimes feels a little uncomfortable while backing out or just walking it in neutral.. could also be attributed that it ismy first bike and I likely have a better chance dropping it while walking it then riding it, haha.

(I can get both feet flat on the ground with knees bent a bit fine, it is just the walking part I guess)

I do have pretty long legs too. I mean I love the feel when I ride it, but the seat height is pretty high for the bike, is it not? What usually attributes to the deciding factors of a seat height? Is it purely for riding position, or is it also things like in-line/v-twin engines, etc, that take up more or less vertical space?

Sorry if I am not welcomed here, but I had to post- all you lovely ladies roaming around with your sexy finger-words just drive me half mad ;-)
