I wish people would stop waving at me, I just dont care to wave at every person I see riding, which can be up to 30 bikers per day or more. Sometimes I just look straight and act like I didnt see them.

zandit, "the bird" is the official "Salute" of the advrider riding community... There's a bunch of them here in CO, so we "flip" and "get flipped", or saluted quite regularly... It usually starts with a full on waving of the hand, and then snap it to the salute... Some guys get really crazy and do the whole arm over the other one.... Both hands off the handlebars... But we always check for the ADV sticker, cause we don't want to piss off ignorant riders... And then again, there is usually at least one post a week on our regional rockies forum asking if such and such is an adv'er, and/or if they just pissed somebody off with "the salute"... Tongue

muyo you should always wave at bikers! its a kind thing to do..it annoys me when i go out of my way to wave at every biker (even ones in car parks) and for them not to wave back!
