Busa is soooo old news...

Haven't you heard, or has the news horse not rode into town down there? ZX14 holds that title now.

YES YES AND YES!

As rediculously huge as the zx14 is in person, i would still buy that over the "UGLYBUSA"

they are still both rediculous bikes and pointless for anyone that wants to go canyon riding cause its way too much weight to flick around.

so stick with a liter class or below for good measure...  Wink

You have to ride a busa . Ugly? I don't like the looks myself. but You have to ride one. They are nice. i would not hesitate to go carving canyon on a busa. I don't go that fast anyhow and the bike feels light once you get rolling . I have never pulled the trigger and run one full throttle. It was not my bike.

I think the 'busa has been tossed up more times on this site than any other bike. To each his own, if you love the bike awesome! If you hate it...awesome!

The Busa is the fastest. Others try but suzuki usually holds out on releasing the busa every year to ensure it is top dawg.  The zx14 is the only other bike capable of being a rival and it is part of the reason suzuki bumped up the displacement on the busa to 1343. It is the only otherbike worthy of being metioned in the same sentence.  Although I rarely see a turboed zx14 while busas are many. I have ridden both bikes and run them to wot I like the zx14's accel but its about a half of a step behind the busa on the top end speed. If you have never nearly wet your pants on a motorcycle both will get you close the first time you ride them.

Not being a dick ztrack157, but where does it state that the Busa is the fastest?

Jap bikes tend to stick to the gentlemans agreement of limiting the top speed to 186mph. The ZX12R had no such limiter and was clocked at close to 190mph. I was under the impression that MV Agusta's F4 1078 held the record for 'out of the box' speed at 194mph.

Its all a bit grey, would love to see a sanctioned comparison and ranking.

They do have a governor. Which is bypassed easily. I'd like to see an actual comparison as well. The Busa I rode had no limiter but it was still completely stock mechanically.  All the bike manfacturers need to whip is out and see whose got the biggest and quit screwing around.
