If the Hyosung and the Kawi were equal as far as quality and perfomance, I would still go with the Ninja. My reason is the extra 40 lbs. of the Hyosung. IF . . . you can honestly say that it's no big deal, image having a 20 lb turkey hanging from each handlebar of your Ninja and then tell us how great your bike handles. The Ninja weighs 374 lbs, adding more weight defeats the whole reason for owning a smaller displacement machine . 374 + 40 = the weight of a 600. On the other hand, I'm not brand loyal. Anyone that could build a street-legal 250 sportbike that weighs around 300 lbs would have me camped-out on their doorstep waiting to buy one. YEAH , , ,  LIKE THAT'S GOING HAPPEN . . .   Roll Eyes

Ztrack, you said it man. The KawiSung would be a great little bike, and I think what TR is looking for... Quite honestly, I wish they just legalized the Aprilia 125RS, that's a 2-stroke right? THat would be a hoot!

Really if the Kawi and the Hyosung had a baby it would make a great bike.

Just remember that not all of the good bits come out of a perfect relationship.......just look at Felix and Spooph, Imagine what their kids will come out like!!! BTW, who's gonna bear the children??

I've got child bearing hips, but I'd most likely eat my young, so I'd say Spooph would be the mother.

Back on topic...

The Hiya-sun looks aggressive, has more arse on the road, sounds better in the flesh out of the factory.

That said, they still have a long way to come, and fingers crossed, put some pressure on Kowasuki to put some more effort into their product...

I have to be honest before the redefined '08 Ninja my eyes were set on a Hyosung, I just couldnt get into the look of the old ninja even though they're great bikes. When I look back at myself I realize it was because I was young(er) and everything had to look fast and be an eye opener, which is nice but when it comes to your money, you want something well spent that you can depend on. Then I saw the '08 Ninja's and just fell in love, they look so damn sexy!

Introduce FI at the price they have now, and kawasaki will have a crisis on their hands; keeping up with orders lol.
