So riding home yesterday just after leaving work I pulled up at a T intersection. There was a car infront of me trying to get across three lanes of traffic (I wanted to do this too).

A moving truck decided he wanted to turn into the street I was on. He didn't have much room to move and I was getting rather worried. To his credit he was going rather slow and making sure he could fit. But then...

He rolled the window down and said, "Now that is f**king sexy!"

Made my day!

Haha nice!

Where was that? I had a couple guys in a truck give me the thumbs up in Chapel Hill, lights next to Woolies.

It was turning onto Wickham St from Warren St. So you have to jump across the traffic to get up to Ann St.

It was night & day compared to this afternoon when I picked the cage up from the mechanic. Had some guy cut me off on Moggill Rd, I beeped, and he gave ME the finger. Couldn't believe it.

OK soooooo.

I was planning to upgrade to a Daytona 675 or the like in December when I get my unrestricted license. I'm lucky to be in the situation where I can buy a new bike if I want. After thinking about it for a while I've decided that it's really not that necessary for me to upgrade. I'll still get my unrestricted license, but not buy a new bike.

Which means I want to go a bit nuts on the Ninja. Starting with a few little things and working my way up to the big stuff. I have started compiling a list of things to buy. Feel free to suggest things to add!

In no particular order:

Pazzo Levers - http://www.superbikesupply.com.au - RECEIVED!

Woodcraft 250r specific clipons - http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/Detail.bok?no=5219 - RECEIVED!

Kaneg rear sets - RECEIVED!

Oil cooler - RECEIVED!

HEL Braided Lines - http://www.helperformance.com.au

Hydraulic brake switch - http://www.helperformance.com.au

EBC HH, Motul DOT 4 - http://www.ebay.com.au

Double bubble screen - http://www.bikegearwarehouse.com.au/bike-accessories-parts/08-09_75

Seat Cowl/integrated seat fender

Shogun sliders - http://fatbikez.com/black-shogun-no-cut-frame-sliders-kawasaki-ninja-250r-2008.html?&currency=AU

Rear hugger - http://www.sportisimoto-usa.com/accessories.php

K&N filter or remove airbox - http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/Which_aftermarket_air_filters_fit_the_Ninja_250%3F

Dynojet kit & tune - http://www.dynojet.com/jetkits/motorcycle/kawasaki.aspx

That's the stuff I see me buying in the near future. From there I'd move on to things like shocks, head work, brakes, deeper engine mods etc. Ideas?

...deeper engine mods etc. Ideas?

yeah...

buy a different bike... haha... after spending all that money, you still only have a small bike that will only handle as good as it does now...

im just saying. i jumped to a liter bike and am not the least bit sad i dont have the 250 anymore.

I know what you mean. But I feel like I should attempt to take this bike as far as I can before I upgrade. Not too spastic, but enough to push some reasonable limits.

So I'm thinking of a colour scheme (of all things..)

This is my guitar:

I really dig the black with gold highlights. Thinking the bike could use a bit of that...
