Well the fuzz can harass you for not having it flat and visible from 6m... I have a rego tube, but they are not legal according to the cops, although I'd like to see them prove it to me. I'm going to go back to the flat plastic holder, when I can find one to buy somewhere.
On my 250r I had it mounted on the side...

My case is exactly like yours except my label is upside down.
I wedged mine between the chain guard and the swing arm at the screw near the foot peg. It sort of hangs down over the tyre info plaque.

What I might do tho, is mask up the front window of the holder then spray it all black... might help it blend in.
Man how much does the weather suck, I was gonna go for a ride, but those clouds are pretty black!

Just did my first ride to work and back...
Ride in this morning was fine. I leave about 6:10 if i'm getting the bus so figured i'd do the same on the bike. Little bit of traffic but nothing I couldn't handle.
The ride home this afternoon was F^&KED!!!! I don't know how people can do traffic like that.
It gave me an excellent chance to practice clutch/throttle/rear brake control

Nice work man!
Where were you heading from and to? I used to ride from Bellbowrie to Redcliffe for work! Now that was a good ride for crazy traffic!
Offer still stands for going for a ride... just let us know.

Valley to Bellbowrie! (And vice versa)
Wasn't too bad today. But still, I'm not sure THAT many people live out this way.
Maybe if I just buy a helicopter....

Thanks for the welcomes.
What do you QLDers do with your rego label? I got mine in the post and it's in a plastic case with a single hole at the top. Had a quick look at putting it on the bike but it stands out like dogs bollocks!
I'm thinking I might try to mount it up under the fender as far as possible while still having it visible for the po po.
QLD'ers? Is this an Aussie term I should swear by? Ha- nawww I have no idea what this means. Is it like a license plate, or some sort of registration sticker?

Hahah no shit! You heading to Bellboring for work?! Bugger that! I've escaped there, now live in Taringa! Lot easier to get places from. And yes not many people live out there, its a dead end. Moggill road used to be so bad before they expanded it. That town is full of English, Sth Africans and Kiwis!

No no, I LIVE in Hellbowrie. Work in the Valley.
It's quite a polarising experience. I watched two "Indigenous" Australians have a fist fight in a food court. Hundreds of business folk just sat there gawking, waiting for the security to do something.
Hopefully next week I will get some stuff in the post for making a fender eliminator. I'll post pics when it's done.
