DUDE! that thing is nuts!

reminds me of my nitro rc cars, the wheels spin so fast and at such force the tire just balloon and get real tall! haha. very hard to control when they do balloon though. hopefully they never drive that thing wound out to the end!  Wink

We're aren't doing this modifications anymore. Every once in a while I get an email about it. We aren't really setup for this, and its not really profitable anyhow.

Elliot and I have gone over some things and have decided on a price for the Muffler Mod. We also came up with a name for it;

The "Super Stock" Muffler

Send us your stock muffler and we will modify it like you see here. We use only stainless steel, and high heat muffler packing. Elliot's welding is done on a professional TIG welder, and his quality is top-notch. Turn-around time will be under 2 weeks.

*** "Super Stock" Muffler Mod - $200 + Return Shipping ***

We accept money orders, and I will setup a paypal link soon (paypal fees will apply).

This price is not for a muffler that will be sent to you. You have to take off your muffler and send it to:

Turblown Engineering
22045 N. 88th Ave
Peoria, AZ 85383

Turblown is a well known, reputable performance shop here in Phoenix, AZ. You can check out our website at www.turblown.net .

We understand that some people cannot go without their muffler for up to 2 weeks, and we threw around the idea of having a refundable core charge so we could ship them out to these people, but it is too much of a hassle. We recommend you buy one from ebay, craigslist, or another member on the forum here and send it to us to modify if you cannot wait. Then when you recieve your new modified muffler you can sell your stock one. If you need any help finding one, feel free to PM me.

If you would like to order this mod, or have any questions, please send me a message.

ok so found out wasn't lean but i had torn a diaphragm, now its fixed it actually runs great with 104's installed with snorkels removed and cut the things on the carburetors. runs great. backfiring is from the unused charges and the system kawi put on the ninja to help with emissions.

Looking forward to another great riding season, i miss my bike =(

i know, i went outside and every time it snows i get a *sadface. and whimper a little bit.

Hell I'll do this for 200$'s, I wouldn't mind doing it i have a bunch of free time and such. Although I would need to paint the muffler to prevent rusting as a requirment. so, anyone want a muffler, shoot me with a PM and i'll look into it.

glad to know im no the only ones who shoulder hurt for about a week after using the drill press to death... literaly.

ok

im working on the painting as my welds are starting to rust =(.

Im running a 110 mainjet with snorkles removed, this mod and a dynojet stage 2.

STILL LEAN!

runs great up until about 11k on the tack on hot days but absolutly wont rev past 10.5 on cooler days.

I'm buying a 112 and a 114 tonight after work and i'll report.

ALSO - have backfiring on hard deceleration with needles on 3rd setting from the top, im going to lower them or rais depending on how you look at it to kill the backfiring.

I'll post tonight on sucess or failure, i must get them right as im taking a trip to SC and don't want to be running lean at 75mph the whole way... >.>

PS; don't buy BP gas, they have high amounts of water in their gas, my bike barely ran after topping off with 91.....
shell is the best so far with 91, sheetz runs like 91 while using 89 so.

not lean, found i had torn a diaphragm, went to 104 main's and it sounds and feels wonderful, pulls all the way to 12.5k on the tack. rips through all the gears no flat spots !! i run pump gas 91

the 36 $ muffler, If redrider wont do it and the other guy (sorry forgot your username) wont or dont have time. I'm currently unemployed with lots of spare time a welder and some experience in this. Id be willing to make a few mufflers for the same price. 200$ short pipes/ stock length. pipes will be painted with header paint to prevent rust at the welds.
