Actually I did read it that's how I knew about the flat spot thus the question about how to fix it. I don't remember a solution to it but I've read a lot of post (24 pages worth) and def could've missed it, thanx for the answer! What size main jet would you suggest?

sorry, I might've mixed threads here, it's just that there has been so much discussion on it, and it's all a jumble in my head. Sorry to poke, my bad.

Anyways, it comes stock with a 98, and the jet kit has a 100, the only bigger one, and then a bunch of smaller ones. I know Racer X has 110's in his bike, with a VERY open system. I would suggest you go up to a 100, then try a 102. What's VERY important as well, is changing out the needles for a "straighter" needle. The one that comes with dyno jet kit is awesome! Adjustable and everything. Does this give you what you need?

glad to know im no the only ones who shoulder hurt for about a week after using the drill press to death... literaly.

ok

im working on the painting as my welds are starting to rust =(.

Im running a 110 mainjet with snorkles removed, this mod and a dynojet stage 2.

STILL LEAN!

runs great up until about 11k on the tack on hot days but absolutly wont rev past 10.5 on cooler days.

I'm buying a 112 and a 114 tonight after work and i'll report.

ALSO - have backfiring on hard deceleration with needles on 3rd setting from the top, im going to lower them or rais depending on how you look at it to kill the backfiring.

I'll post tonight on sucess or failure, i must get them right as im taking a trip to SC and don't want to be running lean at 75mph the whole way... >.>

PS; don't buy BP gas, they have high amounts of water in their gas, my bike barely ran after topping off with 91.....
shell is the best so far with 91, sheetz runs like 91 while using 89 so.

If you check out the Kleen air removal mod, that may help with your backfiring. Just make sure you read the whole thread!!! there is a fair bit of debate and very constructive comments on there!

Hey guys, I have an older ninja ('97) and would like to do this kind of mod... however I have two pipes.. and although I'm sure I could do the mod for each pipe, the fact that they are smaller would certainly take away from the low, deep sound that the big can gets.   Therefore... is it possible to put on a new exhaust just so I can mod it?

.. would this be more trouble than its worth?

.. Is this the right place to ask this question? =X   thanks!

I'll be your first customer.  Am buying the special addition this week along with the dynojet 2193.  Let me know.  Better hurry though, my good friend is a welder!!
