Is there any way for the user to remove them? It reduces the width of the usable viewing area by 25%.
Thanks.

If I may add my two cent. I think removing one of the tabs (either Home or Forum) and putting a "Recent Thread" Tab in its place would work a little better. That way you would not have to log in to see new/recent post.

+1
I like this idea. As for the windows to the right, it cramps up the threads.

Nembers have asked over and over for the right side column and so it's been added. Since some don't want to view it, we'll see about adding an option in your profile to turn it off. Stand by...

Janet, I love the new right side windows, makes my life much easier and more efficient on the forum. I'm sure the nay sayers will appreciate a switch though....
Also, thanks for all you guy's hard work. I'm totally digging the involvement and the changes (some small, some large).

okie dokie, I have gone through this thread, front to back, and pulled any relevant information about suggestions for the site, and created a separate thread for each:
1.) So we can keep the discussions on-topic for the ideas.
2.) So we can have a log and keep statuses updated for the ideas.
3.) If an idea is found to be inappropriate at this time, the thread will be shelved for a pre-determined amount of time, and be revisited after to re-decide if it's applicable now.
4.) Once an idea has been implemented, we'll archive the thread to keep things clutter free in this sub-forum.

Hey Guys and Gals,
Just wondering if others are experiencing hangups or delays in pages loading recently?
A number of times recently it has taken 10+ seconds for a page to load when other times it is instantaneous. Sometimes they don't load at all and I have to refresh the page.
I have a number of other forums that I frequent and they are not affected in the same way as this site seems to be recently.
I may be imagining things, but thought I would ask the question.

I was experiencing a similar problem on another forum, and noticed something about "Google Analytics" when it was stalled. I'm running Google Chrome, and downloaded an addon that restricted Analytics, which seemed to cure the problem.
Google Analytics is used by many web sites to gather information, and operates with any browser, not just Chrome. Not sure how you restrict it if you are running IE.
Just an idea, but I'm not a computer guy at all...

I have an idea... What about making "Chapters"? Like a LA,NY, Canada..ect forms. That way people can meet more new ninja fans and organize things?
Even if it is just organized so we can see who is near by (city, zip)

Or even just state would work. Love the idea!
