my speedometer FLIPPED OUT!!

i reset my speedometer and when i started riding, it went from 999 down to 980 then started going back up please help?!

Odometer maybe? Or you've got one hell of a rocket propelled 250r!

I know sometimes they can stick or roll back a number, but that seems like a lot of sticking. How far did you get while it was counting forward properly?

yea the ODOMETER!! it will go down to 980 then starts 981 982 normally counts upp till it gets to 000, then goes normal.

yes that meter.. too late now crashed it and no i have to buy full body and lights. but i was thinking of having it half naked. still runs but all the fairing are done and lights are gone also..

that was the same thing i thought!! but im a nooby to this so it is going to take me a while to figure it out.. if not i might just buy a whole set of fairings still deciding.

sounds like the gears in the trip meter skipped a tooth. A new gauge for the street fighter would be the easiest way to fix this. Getting into the stock instruments to remedy this is a right pain in the rear!
